Profanity-prone jogger fights ban from N.H. town

0

A jogger in Maine who’s made a habit of crossing into New Hampshire, going for a run and swearing at strangers is fighting an attempt to ban him.

A Portsmouth, N.H. judge banned Craig O’Brien entirely from the city after several runs in which O’Brien swore at citizens and police officers during his run. O’Brien tested the 2009 ban and was arrested, and is now challenging the ban in court.

O’Brien’s case will be heard before the New Hampshire Supreme Court soon, although a date has not been set.
