Because rain is the new thing for Boulder weather, it’s rainy again this afternoon, which means you may not be thinking about which pitches you’d like to be sending the moment you’re released from the chains that bind you to your desk.

But tomorrow, when the sun comes out again and the weekend once again turns to the blindingly beautiful weather that more usually accompanies Send-tember, you’ll probably start thinking about climbing.

Bad news on that front.

Damage from the flood means access to most of the climbing areas around Boulder is still shut down and the Boulder County Sheriff is asking outdoor enthusiasts to defer to residents and utility workers who need to use those roads.
