A huge rope swing made popular by a YouTube video has caused the death of a man in Utah.
Kyle Stocking, 22, died when he misjudged the length and stretch of his rope and struck the ground at the Corona Arch near Moab, Utah.
Stocking was imitating a hugely popular YouTube video in which adventure-seekers set up a rope atop the arch and jump off, swinging down through the arch. The rope swing was shut down for commercial trips after the video went viral, but private citizens are still allowed to access the arch.
