Theme Park Insider
by Derby Cox

Theme parks are a popular summer destination, but several factors — the lines, the cost and the inevitable motion sickness — can ruin your fun.

Although it can’t cure nausea caused by eating three chili dogs before climbing on a coaster, Theme Park Insider can make your theme park visit more enjoyable. The site features user-generated reviews of theme parks submitted in a manner similar to Wikipedia. The reviews of the more popular parks often include strategy sections, which detail the best time of year to visit, when to get to the park and in what order to ride the rides for the best experience.

There are also a number of short user-submitted theme park tips and a discussion forum where you can ask specific questions. The site also compiles a list of theme park accidents, so you can better judge the safety of a park before visiting.
