Senate candidate from Indiana: Rape is God's will

Another Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate has attempted to minimize rape.

Richard Mourdock, the state's treasurer who defeated Sen. Richard Lugar in a primary race, said during a debate Tuesday that rape was "something God intended to happen" and that therefore pregnancies resulting from rape shouldn't be terminated with abortions.

Mourdock's position is that abortion should never be allowed.

His comments resemble those of Rep. Todd Akin of Missouri, also a Republican, whose comment earlier this election season about "legitimate rape" made headlines and prompted many to urge Akin to drop out of the race.

Mourdock has not apologized for the comment.

Rape is not God's will, but a sick person's lusting desire to overpower, dominate and degrade another.

Romney-Ryan are closely associated with Todd Akin, Roger Rivard, Rick Berg and Richard Mourdock, who when asked questions concerning women's reproductive rights, voiced disparaging views not consistent with political issues. Women have been targeted and regulated to the bedroom by legislation across the land forcing them to undergo medical procedures without a doctors order. Important! Yes, importance does matter when a woman is force-ably raped by man or men against her will. Rape is the deliberate force of domination on another person(female/male) using sex as the tool of domination, fear and intimidation! These men have sanctioned this thought processes of domination, fear and intimidation. Anyone who says there is no bigotry, prejudice or biasness in America is whistling Dixie! The reëlection of Barack Obama is a matter of great urgency. Not only are we in broad agreement with his policy directions; we also see in him what is absent in Mitt Romney—a first-rate political temperament and a deep sense of fairness and integrity. A two-term Obama Administration will leave an enduringly positive imprint on political life. It will bolster the ideal of good governance and a social vision that tempers individualism with a concern for community. All of president Obama's accomplishments were completed while bucking TEA-Republican headwinds.
