In Beaver Creek, Ted Ligety unstoppable

American Ted Ligety keeps the wins coming the giant slalom. In fact, it's hardly even close.

Ligety took first in his second straight World Cup giant slalom race, this one in Beaver Creek, Colo. He won the race by more than a second and a half.

In the offseason, Ligety protested changes to ski designs that he felt would require much greater exertion. In fact, Ligety's game has stepped up, possibly as a result, as he's pulled away from the competition.
