Nolan’s next: ‘Dark Knight’ director to helm sci-fi adventure film

Christopher Nolan, the writer and director for all three of the recent Batman trilogy (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises), has been named the director of an upcoming Paramount and Warner Bros. production.

Nolan will direct Interstellar, a film written by his brother, Jonathan Nolan. The sci-fi adventure described as “a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding” by Warner Bros.

It’s expected to open in November 2014.
