Children with special needs and their families will take part in intensive, personalized and integrated therapeutic and recreational programs. Our programs are open to children with all types of developmental disabilities beginning at age 1 and up. Programs are offered in the Rockies and in Metro Denver. A one-week residential camp for ages 7 and up is also offered.

Brain Balance Achievement Centers work with children with ADHD, dyslexia and learning, communication and sensory issues by implementing a program that focuses on academic and sensory-motor activities in addition to dietary changes.

Camp Erin

HospiceCare is excited to sponsor Camp Erin, a free weekend bereavement camp for children and teens, ages 6-17, who have experienced the death of someone close to them. It runs Aug. 10-12 and combines the fun of a traditional camp with bereavement education and emotional support to help kids cope with grief and loss. All of the activities are facilitated by HospiceCare grief counselors and specially trained volunteers. Camp Erin is free to all campers on a first-come, first-served basis. Activities include outdoor sports, canoe rides, fishing, a challenge course, arts and crafts, creative expression and remembrance activities.
