British entrepreneur Dale Vince is more than just an eccentric millionaire — he’s a millionaire with a mission. He’s used his wind power company to push for radical shifts in the world around him, developing a new model for new electric cars and a nationwide network for recharging them on renewable energy and using new venues to spread a message about sustainable living, like purchasing a soccer club and banning meat from the stadium.

Vince is the owner of British "green electricity" company Ecotricity, which primarily generates electricity with windmills, although it also employs solar panels.

“You can’t just bang on about climate change in the old ways and hope for change,” he told the Mother Nature Network. “You need to get the message across in new ways and to new audiences.”
