Skydive from space vicariously with this video

Footage from Felix Baumgartner's body cam released

In October of 2012, skydiver Felix Baumgartner broke records and warped imaginations by parachuting from a balloon parked 24 miles of the earth.

In an event that was pretty darned close to this generation’s moon landing, the whole world watched online.

But as gripping as that footage was, it pales compared to the just-released full video which cuts together footage from the balloon and cameras he carried with him on his descent. Viewers experience the scope of the height, the intensity of breaking the sound barrier and terror of going into a flat spin.

“Sometimes you have to be up really high to understand how small you are,” he said. “I’m going home now.”And then he jumped.
