Clarence Darrow was Chicago’s storied defense attorney in the roaring ’20s. In over 100 murder cases, he only lost one. Some called him evil, others called him a hero. Miners Alley Playhouse brings a special look into the lawyer’s mind with their exclusive three-day run of Clarence Darrow Thursday, Oct. 30th through Sunday, Nov. 2. The one-man play stars Sandy Brook, who is the former Chief Judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals, and has had a lifelong a passion for theater and acting. He brings Clarence Darrow to life again, reminding us of the man who bravely took on the most controversial issues and exposed injustice in society.
