Nomad Playhouse Events

The upcoming benefit for the purchase and rehabilitation of the Nomad Playhouse includes the following events. Tickets are $20 general admission, $50 VIP or VIP with limited valet parking for $75 unless otherwise noted.

FRIDAY, MARCH 6 7:30 p.m. Desserts and Dreams — a benefit for the purchase and rehabilitation of the Nomad Theatre and the Tara 12th grade trip to Europe. Tickets: $10

SATURDAY, MARCH 7 2 p.m. Film: Penny and Red: The Life of Secretariat’s Owner — A documentary on the famous racehorse with talkback by Penny Chenery. Tickets: $20 7:30 p.m. Theatre: Featuring Joan Van Ark in My Life in Songs and ’Logues: Memories from Boulder, Broadway and Beyond. Actors from the Denver Center Theatre Company Randy Moore and Kathleen M. Brady present a reading.

SUNDAY, MARCH 8 1 p.m. Dance: Performances by Nancy Cranbourne and Schiff Dance Collective. Tickets: $20 3 p.m. Music: Mystery Sonata — Zachary Carrettin on violin and Mina Gajic on piano. Matt Witherow opens.

7:30 p.m. Music: Pete and Joan Wernick (Dr. and Nurse Banjo) with members of The Long Road Home bluegrass band, traditional Irish music from Adam Agee and Jon Sousa.
