‘Unacceptable Risk: Firefighters on the Front Lines of Climate Change’

6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, The Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut St., Boulder, 303-440-7826.

Climate change has been rippling through our world for the past few decades. Colorado is suffering from summer-like temperatures in winter to a severe fire season that’s destroying its forests. Firefighters are on the front line of this problem seeing the lasting damages and devastation. On Feb. 24, The Dairy is premiering Unacceptable Risk: Firefighters on the Front Lines of Climate Change, a short film showing local firefighters combating some of the harshest fires of the last decade. Stick around after the show for a discussion with firefighters, climate scientists and the filmmakers about climate change and how to help fight against the threat of wildfires.
