Something Underground.

8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, Dickens Opera House, 300 Main St., Longmont, 720-297- 6397.

Something Underground sits in that sweet spot between modern-day rock and the nostalgic bands of the ’60s and ’70s. The Denverbased trio consistently plays around the state with brothers Seth and Josh Larson and drummer Trevor Mariotti seamlessly working together to create their high energy sounds. They draw inspiration from reggae and funk and bands like The Beatles, and unlikely sources including Bruno Mars. They’ve spent the last 15 years rocking all over the state, and this week they bring their music to the Dickens Opera House.
