Fringe festivals are essential for theater. They push the boundaries and allow for experimentation that’s not always possible with everyday theater. They also give a voice to creative people with a message to share. This weekend, the University of Colorado Boulder is throwing their annual CU Fringe Festival featuring free arts, music, comedy, film and theater performances. All the productions will be new material written by and starring students.
