The Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan (BVCP) will host two more kick-off events to begin its 2010 update, which is titled “Sustainable Boulder: Creating Our Future.”
The next event, “Shaping Sustainability,” will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. It will be an opportunity to interact with fellow residents and offer input on the development of Boulder. Discussions will cover issues related to urban sustainability, and workshops will allow
participants to explore questions associated with sustainable growth.
A session designed for children will take place at this event, so participants are encouraged to bring their families.
The final event in the series, “Values and Priorities,” will be held on Wednesday, March 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and will allow participants to work in small groups to prioritize the top areas of focus, based on community values, for presentation to City Council at a later date.
Both events will be held at the West Senior Center, located at 909 Arapahoe Ave.
