Mardi Gras at Jax

By Lauren Duncan

Head to Jax Fish House for a festive Mardi Gras celebration.

On Feb. 16, from 4 p.m. until close, the restaurant will offer a three-course menu featuring oysters, chicken and crawfish gumbo, Cajun jumbo prawns and King Cake beignets.

The menu is $35 per person with a $15 optional wine pairing, and a separate drink special features $6 Blood Orange Hurricanes — a Hosea original. For more information, visit www.jaxfishhouseboulder.com.

Bustling Bacaro

Bacaro is introducing two new festive opportunities for lovers of Venetian food. Every Monday the restaurant will offer a fixed price three-course meal at $16 per person. The menu will be different each week, allowing guests to sample new items weekly. In the newly remodeled back room, Bacaro will also begin hosting “Cena in Famiglia,” a special nightly seating that offers guests the opportunity to socialize with fellow diners.

This “Community Table” seats 12–15 people, and participants will receive a four-course meal for $26 per person. Upon entering the restaurant, guests will have the option of sitting at their own table or at the Community Table. For more information about the events, visit www.bacaro.com/Events.aspx.
