Online Adventure site of the week:

By Sally Dadisman

As summer approaches, our inner traveler begins to scream, “Road trip!” But where to go, what to see?

Every traveler has different expectations, but if your road trip across America includes the desire to see a Styrofoam replica of Stonehenge (“Foamhenge”) or the world’s largest apple, then check out RoadsideAmerica.com. The site gives you the ability to “Map-A-City” in all 50 states, so even if you’re just traveling to a state or two, you can still track down oddities. There’s also a blog on the site, “Trunkations,” which has links to recommendations, rants and ruminations. Or you can search for yourself through an interactive map.
