Friday night, Trattoria on Pearl will host “First Friday Jazz Happy Hour,” which will feature Bonnie Lowdermilk on vocals and keyboard and Ron Bland on bass from 5:30 to 8:30. Happy hour specials are available until 6.
While you are there, inquire about their Italian classes, which feature a three-course dinner based on an Italian region, as well as Italian language and culture lessons. After all, learning is more fun when food is involved. A few spots are still available in the November 12 or 17 (Sardegna) and November 19 or 24 (Lazio/Roma) classes. Classes are $35 per person.
