Pickled Lemon

Udi’s newest Middle Eastern fastcasual restaurant, the Pickled Lemon, opened June 22 on University Hill in Boulder.

Pickled Lemon’s menu features authentic Middle Eastern cuisine such as hummus, shawarma, falafel, and baba ganoush; sandwiches made with their artisan pita bread; housemade soups; and fresh salads.

Robin Bar-On, one of the owners of the Pickled Lemon, says that Pickled Lemon’s pita bread is “some of the best in the country right now” and that their fresh food sets them apart from other restaurants.

“Our falafel is fresh every day.

Our hummus is fresh every day. Our meat is our own marination. Our spices are roasted from savory, so they roast them to order,” Bar-On says.

Pickled Lemon is located at 1155 13th St. on University Hill in Boulder. The Middle Eastern eatery is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday until August, when hours will change.
