Under state law, registered voters who did not participate in the 2010 election have been listed as inactive and will not receive a mail ballot for the Nov. 1 election unless they contact the county clerk and recorder’s office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 303-413-7740. Those who are inactive can be reactivated through Election Day. But Monday, Oct. 3, was the last day to register for the election.
Voters can visit www.BoulderCountyVotes.org to request a mail ballot or check and update their voter registration. They can also call the number above or visit one of three Boulder County Clerk & Recorder’s Office branches: 1750 33rd St. in Boulder, 529 Coffman St. in Longmont, or 722 Main St. in Louisville.
Voters will begin receiving ballots in mid-October.
