Circles Campaign looks for volunteer

0

Boulder County is looking for volunteers to participate in
the Circles Campaign, which aims to move people out of poverty and into a life
of structure. The Circles Campaign is looking for people to guide and support
individuals and families by helping them develop skills and access to the
resources needed to help them obtain economic stability.

A training session to become a “Circles Ally” will take
place Wednesday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. The Circles Ally 101 training will
take place at Flatirons Church, located at 355 W. South Boulder Rd. in
Lafayette. Dinner will be provided at the session.

As a Circles Ally, volunteers will be asked to make an
18-month commitment in which he or she will volunteer six to 12 hours a month
and attend two monthly meetings. If someone is unable to make the Circles Ally
commitment but still wants to be part of the campaign, other opportunities are
available in Longmont, Lafayette and Boulder.

For more information or to RSVP to the session, contact
Eliberto Mendoza at emendoza@bouldercounty.org or call 303-441-1503.
