DANCING, DINING AT THE ST JULIEN

The St Julien Hotel will offer a slate of Valentine’s Day dining, including a brunch, afternoon tea and a prix fixe dinner.

Brunch will feature a live jazz dance band and a “Best Couple” dance contest, with prizes like a dinner for two, couples massage and an overnight stay at St Julien. The meal, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., runs $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for children, with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys for the adults.

After brunch, St Julien turns to tea with housemade scones, tea sandwiches and petits fours from 2 to 4 p.m. for $21.95. At 5:30 p.m., Jill’s Restaurant in the hotel will host the prix fixe dinner, featuring four courses leaning heavily on seafood like Dungeness crab, scallops, oysters, rock shrimp and grouper. Reservations are recommended for the $49.95 meal; contact St Julien at 720-406-7399.
