Video game rental service GameFly this week announced that it plans to begin publishing iOS and Android games in the upcoming months, and will launch its own Android app store.
In a statement, GameFly said it plans to launch its App store for Android devices later this fall. It will be called the GameFly GameStore and should be ready for Android phones and tablets by this holiday season.
The company is also looking to partner with iOS and Android game developers. It has set aside a game development fund to work with independent mobile developers that are in the process of making a game, but need more money to publish and promote their titles.
