Dropped by Dish, AMC Reaches Deal With AT&T

Just in time for the premiere of Breaking Bad's final season, AMC Network and AT&T announced a new deal that will keep the network on AT&T's lineup.

The deal covers AMC, Independent Film Channel (IFC), Sundance Channel, and WE TV on AT&T's U-verse TV service.

In a statement released Sunday, AMC Network confirmed the long-term agreement, saying that it "appropriately recognizes the value of our networks and our award-winning and high-quality programming."

AMC carries fan favorites Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.

"It was important to use on behalf of our U-verse TV customers to come to a positive resolution as quickly as possible," Jeff Weber, president of content and advertising sales at AT&T, said in a statement.
