For American Idol, a whole set of fresh new faces onstage just isn't enough. The show's bringing in new folks at the judging table as well.
The latest shift, though, is back to basics: The show's network, Fox, has decided to bring back Randy Jackson and not bring in Latino pop star Enrique Iglesias. Iglesias is out before he was ever in, with Fox pulling out of negotiations to bring Jackson back into the fold.
Jackson will join several new judges, if negotiations close successfully. Fox is talking with pop singers Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj and country star Keith Urban.
