Tidbites | Trattoria delivers on Thanksgiving

Trattoria on Pearl is offering a Thanksgiving meal with free delivery on Nov. 23. The meal will include a 12- to 14-pound turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans with balsamic-shallot butter, sweet potato gratin, a loaf of Sara’s bread, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin crme caramel. The turkey is uncooked, but everything else just needs to be heated. Trattoria will also include a cooking timeline to help patrons accurately time their meal.

Tidbites | Pinyon hosts a Rumpkin party

The festival will feature multiple events highlighting Burgundy wines. On Saturday, Oct. 29, Mateo is hosting a lunch with a Burgundy-inspired menu and several Burgundy wines. The meal will be served family style, and seating will be limited. That evening, Frasca is featuring a “Grand Cru” dinner.

Tidbites | Zpizza launches natural pepperoni

In honor of National Pizza Month and the company’s 25th anniversary, Zpizza has launched “Pure Pepperoni,” which contains no MSG, preservatives or nitrites. For the month of October, Zpizza will donate $10 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for every case of pepperoni purchased by Zpizza locations, and will sell $1 pins to further help the cause.

Tidbites | New Italian restaurant opening

Tossa, Boulder’s newest Italian restaurant and pizzeria, will open on Oct. 20. The restaurant will feature thin-crusted artisan pizzas, along with classic and contemporary pasta entrees made with homemade sauces and imported cheeses. Tossa also will offer salads, small plates and paninis.

Tidbites | Rosenberg is next chef at Hush

Hush is Colorados first traveling dining event. The location will be revealed to guests one week before the event. Dinner will take place at either 5:30 or 8:30 p.m., and will include a six-course tasting menu with signature cocktails and wines paired by Rosenbergs partner, James Lee of Le Grand Bistro.

Tidbites | Gluten-free, dairy-free granola

In response to customer feedback, Boulder Granola has introduced a new gluten-free and dairy-free granola, replacing its original gluten-free offering that contained dried milk powder. The Boulder Granola Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free product will be available in more than 80 Front Range retailers, including Whole Foods Market, Sunflower Farmers Market, King Soopers and Vitamin Cottage.

Tidbites | Cook-off to benefit fire districts

On Sept. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Centro Latin Kitchen & Refreshment Palace will celebrate its passion for green chile and give competitors a chance to show off their family recipes. The outdoor chile harvest celebration will feature street food, restaurant specials and fresh-roasted chiles. Specials will include Hatch Pork Green Chile, bags of roasted Hatch chiles and corn on the cob slathered with Hatch green chile, butter and manchego.
