Who Are Karmin? From YouTube Stardom to 'Saturday Night Live'

The pop duo Karmin broke big last year with a string of clever, immensely sassy covers of hits by acts such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Foster the People, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Lady Antebellum and LMFAO. Their videos became viral smashes on YouTube, which led to several television appearances and a contract with Epic Records, who will release the band's first album of original material this spring.

Metallica Announce Orion Music Festival

Metallica will bring the noise to Atlantic City this summer with the Orion Music More Festival, a weekend of music, comedy and culture. Set for June 23rd and 24th in the seaside New Jersey town, the event will feature headlining sets from the band each evening, during which they will perform two of their most enduring albums in their entirety: their 1991 eponymous fifth release ("The Black Album") one night and 1984's Ride the Lightning the other.

NFL, NBC Apologize for M.I.A. Flipping Middle Finger at Halftime Show

NBC has apologized for airing footage of M.I.A. flipping off the cameras while delivering the line "I don't give a shit" during Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show. "The NFL hired the talent and produced the halftime show," NBC said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. "Our system was late to obscure the inappropriate gesture and we apologize to our viewers."

Magnolia Pictures Grabs U.S. Rights to Bob Marley Documentary

Magnolia Pictures has acquired U.S. rights to Marley, the first documentary about iconic musician Bob Marley made with the support of the Marley family. The film will open in theaters and on VOD and digital platforms April 20, after its world premiere at the Berlin film festival. VH1 also has partnered to license the first TV window of the film as part of its Rock Doc franchise.
