We’re going to guess that very few of you were shocked when you heard that the Republican-dominated Board of Regents criticized a proposal for a new Ph.D. degree in ethnic studies at CU-Boulder. Or that two right-wingers voted against a proposal for an ethnic studies degree at the Denver campus.
We could sense all of the true diehard Star Wars fans cringing in their brown hooded robes with the news this week that Disney was buying Lucasfilm and planning to release additional episodes of the series.
Once again, we at Boulder Weekly have spent months talking to candidates and analyzing ballot measures in our effort to provide our readers with the absolute best election guide possible. But it appears that our best efforts missed one very critical piece of election information.
While we have absolutely no opinion on whether marijuana should be legalized in Colorado (OK, so maybe we do, stay tuned for next week’s Vote Guide with our endorsements), we have to agree with the Amendment 64 campaign on at least one front.
