Noam Chomsky to speak in Boulder

Posted By: David Accomazzo

Noam Chomsky will speak at Macky Auditorium on Friday, April 22 at an event benefiting KGNU as well as celebrating the 25th anniversary of David Barsamian's radio program "Alternative Radio."

Chomsky is a former professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who is widely acknowledged as the founder of modern linguistics. As his career progressed, he became known for writing about politics and foreign policy. He is now known as a far-left intellectual, reviled by the right and ignored by the center-left. He is making his first appearance in Boulder since 2003.

Tickets are on sale now and are $20 for KGNU members and $25 for the general public. Click here for tickets or call 1-888-695-0888.
