Disco Biscuits headlining Eco Music Festival in Snowmass, Boulder bands to represent

Posted By: David Accomazzo

The Eco Music Festival in Snowmass is looking better by the minute — the top headliners are proven Colorado crowd-pleasers, and you couldn't ask for a more picturesque location. Check out who's playing:

The Disco Biscuits
Leftover Salmon
Perpetual Groove
Tea Leaf Green
The New Mastersounds
Michael Thomas Smith
DJ Aaron Colbert
Better Than Bacon
Carry Me Ohio
Dusty Neil Band
The Holler!
The Longest Day of the Year
Airport Way

The festivities kick off on Thursday, June 30, with a free concert featuring The New Mastersounds and Sleeptalk. On July 1, Boulder rockers Bassline and a few other smaller, local acts hit the stage in the afternoon. Boulder country group The Longest Day Of The Year plays that night. Boulder DJ Godlazer plays the afterparty on Saturday night (July 2).

In addition to music, buying a ticket (a reasonable $70 for the weekend, and $150 for a VIP package) gets you admission to an "Adventure Day," which includes activities like hiking, yoga and capture the flag.

The festival is trying to be green as well, and organizers say they will plant a tree for every ticket sold.

It's good to see so many Boulder bands represented at this festival. Check out the festival's website for more information.
