Metal group Mastodon has made maybe the coolest music video ever.
A solar eclipse has hit Magic Land, and, as drummer Brann Dailor kindly explains in his best Mr. Rodgers impression, solar eclipses can sometimes make people act funny. In Magic Land, puppets turn on fellow puppets, and apocalyptic death rains on the brightly colored terrain.
Mastodon's album The Hunter will be released sometime later this year. Not many details are available, except that it will feature awesomely named songs such as "Curl Of The Burl," "Dry Bone Valley," "Blasteroids," "The Octopus Has No Friends," "All The Heavy Lifting" and "Stargasm."
