Listen to the new single from The Fray's upcoming album

Denver softie rockers The Fray are back, and they'll release their third album Scars and Stories on Feb. 7. The Grammy-nominated band has released the first single and lead track of the album, "Heartbeat," on their website. Check it out below.

Heartbeat by The Fray

Lead singer Isaac Slade says in a press release that he found inspiration for the song while traveling in South Africa and Rwanda with a friend.

"At first it was really hard to stay open in the face of so much pain and heartache," he says. "But then I ended up meeting so many cool and inspiring people, and all these ideas for lyrics and melodies just started rushing in.”

The song is typical of The Fray, and it will probably titillate fans of the band's soft, sensitive adult alternative rock. What do you think?

I found a link to get the song "Heartbeat" which is on The Frey's newest album Scars and Stories for free! Looks like a promotion from 100.7 Mix Fm.
