Minneola Orange Toasted Walnut Cake

By Danette Randall
I like the Minneola, named after Minneola, Fla., just so you know, because it has the sweetness of the tangerine, but then a nice blast of tart from the grapefruit side. It's extremely juicy, and easy to peel, which makes it convenient when you are using multiple oranges to bake with.

Chocolate Peppermint Cake with Minty Glaze

Yes, I've made the decision on what to do: Smash those babies up and stick them in a cake. Genius, I know. I like the fact that you have to smash them up, get out all that aggression that built up over the last few months.

Orange Zest Cranberry Bread

By Danette Randall
Out of all the berries out there, cranberries seem to fit the bill, no matter what time of year. Of course, around the holidays, they are everywhere, just staring you in the face. Even the solid glob that comes out of the can seems appetizing this time of year. Not that I’m judging the peeps who like cranberry with the lines of the can on it — you are my people. Just here to offer another idea for the beloved berry, which involves no can in sight.

Chocolate Toffee Pumpkin Fudge

By Danette Randall
This treat is rich and creamy, with traditional pumpkin pie spices mingling delightfully with the chocolate toffee. You will love how simple it is to whip up a batch, but remember, patience is your friend with this recipe bringing it to a boil a couple of times is necessary to reach that wonderful consistency that melts in your mouth.
