At approximately 5:45 p.m. on April 28, deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office received a call that seniors from Boulder High School were planning to hold a campout in the mountains west of Boulder. Members of the Boulder Rural Fire Protection District and Boulder Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a plane crash northwest of the intersection of Independence and North 57th St. today at 11:48 a.m. Upon arrival they found a Beachcraft Bonanza aircraft abandoned in the field.

On Thursday, April 15, the Boulder County communications center received a call at 9 p.m. from two adults at an address on Rustic Knolls Dr. who said that they had been poisoned. After the parties were transported to Boulder Community Hospital, they admitted to consuming brownies that were laced with marijuana.
