North Boulder's Barn Store closes its doors

North Boulder’s Barn Store, on Yarmouth and Broadway, closed its doors yesterday. The store, loved by Boulder residents and featured in Stephen King’s The Stand, will be demolished around May 1, to make room for an apartment or condominium complex.

Big Air

106-foot-high ski/snowboard jump rises in downtown Denver

There are two nights of competition. The first, held on Jan. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m., is the Nature Valley Big Air Challenge featuring the Battle of the Brands. This event features three-man teams in a head-to-head single elimination challenge. The three brands committed to sending skiers so far are Icelantic, Armada and Volkl.

County offices in Longmont closed due to threats

Boulder closed its offices in Longmont today after threats of violence were called in against the facility. Longmont police responded to the threat, and apprehended the suspect at 10:40 this morning.
