Lessons From Warren

“So you live in the present

Beats in time and space

Build a moment in place

of perpetual slow and eternal speed

In between the hits and crashes of life.

Because a beautiful heart

means a beautiful mind

and there’s nothing quite like the kind of people you

meet who truly

believe that you are also like them.

And even though you grow sour, because complaining

is the talk of the hour

Instead I think it’s worth it to try for the other side of things;

The brighter one, the purer one,

The one attached with wings.”
