GOP convention lineup: Journey, Kid Rock, Zac Brown and more

While it looks like Lynyrd Skynyrd could be bumped off the roster due to Hurricane Isaac, there’s still a surprisingly long list of rockers ready to take the stage for Romney and Ryan at the Republican National Convention.

Some of the artists, like Kid Rock and 3 Doors Down, said they’re proud to support Republicans and perform for Romney and Ryan. For others, “It’s not an endorsement of any candidate and/or party – it’s just
another private show,” says the spokesperson for Journey. “These dates are simply
listed as ‘Private Event’ on the tour grid.”

When asked whether there would be an issue with any of Kid Rock’s stronger lyrics, a Romney spokesperson said he’s have to get back to reporters.
