Stand-up comedian Jeff Ross, who is known for his celebrity roasts once said, “Roasts can be therapeutic; they bring people together.” Ross has appeared on the television programs Weeds, The Sarah Silverman Program, and Six Feet Under. He also competed on the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars, where he and professional ballroom dancer Edyta Sliwinska were the first to be eliminated. Now he’s back on tour bringing his bold material to the big stage. You might remember Ross, who has been dubbed “The Roastmaster General,” as showing up to Comedy Central’s roast of James Franco with corn rows styled by Snoop Lion’s hair-dresser and calling Franco a “Ph.D. pretentious hipster douche bag.” Think you can take that kind of heat? Ross is bringing his “insult comic” entertainment to the Boulder this week for those of you who want to get roasted, too. —Nadia Mishkin
