Is The Simpsons still relevant?

I mean, no. That’s not even really a tough question. The Fox cartoon is now old enough to graduate from college — assuming it could manage to finish in five years — and it’s no longer the cultural touchstone it once was.

But it’s still trying. The show has loaded up its coming season with enough pop culture icons as guest stars to fill a red carpet, from Justin Bieber to Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch.
