AMARONE WINE DINNER WITH ALLEGRINI

Calling all wine lovers: On Nov. 6, Arugula chef and proprietor Alec Schuler and Chef de Cuisine Sven Hedenas will be presenting a wine dinner paired with Allegrini wines from Valpolicella, one of Italy’s most important wine regions.

Guests will enjoy a five-course dinner menu, expertly paired with Allegrini wines. Among the items served at Arugula is a three-bean ragu marinated with Munson Farm butternut squash and Maine mussels, decadently topped with shaved soppressata salami and paired with Valpolicella Classico D.O.C 2011. Also on the menu is a braised lamb shank, served with bell peppers over creamy polenta folded with hazelnuts and Monroe Farm cabbage, topped with a charred rack medallion and paired with Amarone Classico D.O.C 2008.

Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs $79 per person. Regular updates on election results will also be given. For reservations call 303-443-5100.
