OYSTER LOVERS REJOICE

Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar in Boulder, Fort Collins and Denver will celebrate everything oyster during the 14th Annual Oyster Month at Odell Brewing Company.

On March 1, Jax will release its specialty Oyster Month beer, Emersum Oyster Stout, brewed by Odell Brewing Company with assistance from the employees of Jax and the addition of Emersum Oysters. Jax Denver will kick off the first of three Oyster Eating Contests on March 11, with Boulder’s following on March 18, and the Fort Collins contest on March 25.

After proving your guttural strength to the world by sucking down as many oysters as possible, head to one of three oyster dinners starting on March 20, where Ryan and Travis Croxton of Rappahannock River Oysters and Emersum Oysters will cook four-course fresh oyster feasts with the help of Jax chefs, led by Executive Chef Sheila Lucero. In addition to the special events, each of the restaurants will offer $1 Emersum Oysters, weekly oyster specials and drink specials all month long. Get more info at http://oystermonth.com
