On June 13, Del Taco announced the opening of its newest Colorado location at 1100 13th St., near the University of Colorado at Boulder. The restaurant is open until 3 a.m. and features Del Taco’s well-known Taco Tuesday promotion: three regular tacos for $1.19 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Tuesday.

Beer tasting time Pumphouse Brewery and Restaurant in Longmont will host the its monthly Craft Beer Tasting on June 22 at 7 p.m., and it will feature Saison and other farmhouse ales that originated in southern Belgium. Jason Yester, owner and brewmaster of Trinity Brewing Company of Colorado Springs, will discuss Saison history and the 12 to 14 farmhouse ales acquired from local breweries.

Love at first bite

Boulder based start-up The Love Bite offers singles a new way to find their soul mate by combining an evening of culinary instruction with a relaxed dining experience.

Singles meet at The Dish Restaurant on Pearl Street to mingle and enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a four- or five-course meal and professional instruction from The Love Bite creator chef Elizabeth Moskow. Couples can participate as well, and The Love Bite also specializes in private events for up to 12 people.
