16th Annual Western Book Discussion Day

The Boulder Public Library will celebrate its 16th Annual Western Book Discussion Day by focusing on U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser’s Pulitzer Prize-winning collection of poems, Delights and Shadows.

The event, free to the public, will take place on March 5 in the library’s Canyon Theater at 1001 Arapahoe Ave.  Starting at 3 p.m. that day, Kooser will read and discuss his work. This portion of the event does not require reservations, but the library is encouraging anyone who wants to talk about Kooser’s poetry at a 1 p.m. discussion to register by calling 303-441-3196.

Many of Kooser’s works can be found at the Boulder Book Store, Innisfree Poetry Bookstore and Café, and other bookstores throughout the area.

More information on the 16th Annual Western Book Discussion Day, including a full schedule of the day’s events, can be found on the events page at boulderlibrary.org.
