Four finalists have been selected from a nationwide search for Boulder Public Library director, the City of Boulder announced today. The candidates will be giving their perspectives on national library trends, and meeting the public, at a presentation on Sunday, Jan. 23.

The four finalists are Gerry Garzon, associate director of the Oakland Public Library; Pam Kiesner, library director of the Bellingham Public Library in Washington; Debbi MacLeod, Colorado Talking Books library director and state publications library director of the Colorado State Library; and Greg Mickells, assistant library director at Lincoln City Libraries in Nebraska.

The presentation will be held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building from 1 to 2:30 p.m. There will be a public reception to meet the candidates after their presentation, and comment cards will be available to aid city officials in making their decision.
