Fights between cable operators and TV networks are nothing new, AMC, meanwhile, will stream episode one of Breaking Bad’s fifth season for Dish customers who recently lost access to the network. Web users visiting the websites for Viacom properties – like Comedy
but an ongoing fight between DirecTV and Viacom has spilled over to the
Web, with Viacom pulling Internet access to many of its shows.
Central, Nickelodeon, and MTV – will find that the company has pulled
many full-length episodes from the Web. If you want to watch an episode of The Daily Show,
for example, you are met with a message that says: “Full episodes are
currently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
