With the news that Disney has purchased George Lucas’ Star Wars franchise and is considering making new films, public speculation is flying over the content and the stars.

At least one star from the original films would be happy to take a role, a source says: Harrison Ford, whose portrayal of Han Solo is a highlight of the first three movies.

The actor, 70, would be open to reprising Han, although he said in a 2010 interview that he felt Han should have died in Episode VI, as early plot outlines called for.
