The October jump by Felix Baumgartner broke three world records, an international agency has confirmed.

Baumgartner’s skydive from the edge of space over New Mexico set the records for the maximum vertical speed a human has ever achieved, highest exit altitude and greatest vertical distance of freefall, Swiss-based World Air Sports Federation said.

Baumgartner fell over 119,000 feet before even opening his parachute.
