The Washington Post is reporting that the federal government is replacing CGI Federal, the contractor hired to build the problematic HealthCare.gov website.

“Federal health officials are preparing to sign a 12-month contract worth
roughly $90 million, probably early next week, with a different
company, Accenture, after concluding that CGI has not been effective
enough in fixing the intricate computer system underpinning the federal
Web site, HealthCare.gov.

Accenture is the company that built California’s health care exchange, but this will be its first work of this scale.

Neither company responded to the Washington Post’s requests for comment.
