First Bite Boulder
First Bite Boulder, an annual event highlighting Boulder’s dining scene, kicks off on Nov. 12. For one full week, more than 40 of Boulder’s top restaurants will offer a special three-course $26 dinner menu to the community.

Happy birthday, Båcaro
To celebrate 13 years in downtown Boulder, Bácaro Venetian Taverna, at 921 Pearl St., is offering specials throughout the month of November.
Bácaro will also be participating in First Bite Boulder from Nov. 12 through Nov. 20. From Nov. 21 to Nov. 28 Bácaro will be offering Prezzo Fisso/Fixed Price dinner menus at just $16 per person all week. For more information, call 303-444-4888.
Brewing a winner
Boulder-based Conscious Coffees has bagged a big award: Roast Magazine’s Micro-Roaster of the Year Award.
Founded in 1996, Conscious Coffees specializes in importing and roasting high-quality, organic coffee directly sourced from local farmer cooperatives. The Cup Espresso Cafe in downtown Boulder serves Conscious Coffees brews, and during November is offering free 12-ounce cups with a coupon. Gindi dinner
Gindi Café, in conjunction with Beyond Organic Farm, will be hosting a four-course vegetarian dinner on Nov. 13.
Each course will feature farm-fresh produce and a unique wine pairing. Other participating farms include Ela Family Farms and Haystack Mountain Goat Dairy. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and reservations are suggested.
